Local Martial Arts Legend Alex Wilkie Organizes “Wilkie’s Challenge,” Prizes to Victors

Master Alex Wilkie is offering a $150 gift certificate to any fighter who defeats one of his warriors.

On August 15, 2009 at New Breed Fighters XXIV at Resorts Casino in Atlantic City, Master Wilkie will pit 10 of his fighters of various experience levels against 10 challengers from MMA schools throughout the region.

In the spirit of competition and sportsmanship, Master Wilkie is offering a $150 gift certificate to Gallagher’s Bar & Grille at Resorts to any fighter who defeats one of his warriors, to be presented by Master Wilkie in the cage immediately following the fight.

Alex Wilkie, a staple of the martial arts community for the past 36 years and a pioneer of MMA, has always prided himself on the versatility and toughness of his fighters. And now he’s putting his fighters to the test!

WILKIE'S WARRIORS CHALLENGE

In our ever increasing desire to maximize the experience our fighters and fans have at our exciting and extremely popular events, New Breed Fighters and Resorts Atlantic City Casino, in association with Master Alex Wilkie, will be issuing a challenge to the MMA community.

Master Wilkie, owner and founder of Alex Wilkie’s Martial Arts in Bridgewater , NJ, is nationally recognized and respected for his participation, unmatched knowledge, and contribution to the martial arts community. In 2002 Master Wilkie became a proud inductee of Action Martial Arts Magazine's Hall of Fame.

On August 15th at Resorts Atlantic City Casino, Master Wilkie will pit 10 of his finest WARRIORS against GLADIATORS from 10 of the regions finest schools. Master Wilkie also promises a SURPRISE for whoever is valiant enough to accept and defeat his WARRIORS.

Shortly we will post Wilkie’s 10 Warriors and their challengers for 8/15/09. We will also have 8 other high level MMA bouts on this fun filled evening.
